DigiValve®
DigiValve® is a solid-state switching device designed to control high-voltage AC power with precision and speed. At its core, it’s a stack of air-cooled, pressure-contact thyristors arranged to provide full bidirectional (back-to-back) control of AC currents.
Used primarily in Static Var Compensators (SVCs), harmonic filters, and other industrial power systems, DigiValve® replaces older technologies like saturable reactors, offering faster response, better reliability, and smart diagnostics.
It’s powered by AMI’s proprietary microprocessor-based drive system, allowing real-time control, high-speed switching, and flexible integration into complex power networks.
