Feeding Module
Optimizes the feeding speed of raw materials to be melted using metallurgical modeling to maintain stable power input, temperature profiles, and bath composition. It can be used to control the feeding of Scrap or DRI/HBI.
It uses a series of compensations to estimate the optimal raw material feeding rate, improving:
- Chemical energy consumption.
- Bath temperature.
- Compensation according to delays, percentage of scrap, and DRI chemistry.
- Optimizes feeding rates based on real-time furnace conditions.
- Improves raw material melting efficiency for faster melts.
