Laying Head Orientation Control
DigiLHOC® (Laying Head Orientation Control) is AMI’s specialized system for wire rod mills, engineered to eliminate oversize and deformed rings by controlling the laying pattern with high precision. It stabilizes the ring formation process, especially for large-diameter products, reducing wobble and minimizing coil height. By preventing cobbles and maintaining consistent coiling, DigiLHOC® significantly increases throughput and product handling efficiency. Fully standalone and compatible with any third-party control system, it’s a powerful solution for improving performance in high-speed long product rolling lines.
