The DigiFEX® is an advanced motor control solution designed to manage the motor starting process and provide real-time monitoring of key performance metrics. With its intuitive interface, it displays the status and trends of critical control signals, including armature and exciter field currents. By accurately measuring motor speed and rotor angle, the DigiFEX® ensures field current is applied at the right moment, minimizing disturbances in the power system and optimizing performance.
This versatile system supports various starting methods, including Reactor, Capacitor, and Autotransformer, and also allows for more complex, tailored starting and stopping sequences if needed. The DigiFEX® also integrates easily with higher-level control systems, offering built-in configurable outputs for field current, motor power (kW, kVA), power factor, and more. Plus, it supports industrial network protocols such as TCNet, Ethernet TCP/IP, and Profibus for seamless communication.
