This subscription includes continuous remote monitoring by AMI’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC) remote support team, providing 24/7 assistance and proactive oversight of critical EAF process conditions with timely notifications to address abnormalities before they escalate. The service features visits on site, ensuring hands-on, tailored adjustments aligned with each facility’s needs. OPTaaS® also offers structured training programs, including two annual on-site sessions and ongoing sessions for new engineers or additional needs, covering process improvement, operator skill development, and maintenance best practices.

Additionally, customers receive detailed monthly performance reports and electrode breakage reports with in-depth analysis, providing clear visibility into system performance, operational trends, and actionable recommendations to support continuous improvement. Regular system management with periodic backups of power programs and regulator configurations ensures operational continuity, while ongoing communication with AMI key personnel and webinars on products, processes, and best practices keep teams updated with the latest advancements in EAF optimization.
