In an exciting challenge in pursuit of continuous improvement and a strong commitment to the safety and health of our collaborators, at the beginning of 2023, AMI embarked on a rigorous Certification process for ISO 45001. This Standard was added to our Integrated Management System, expanding its scope to include unified certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001:
“Assembly and Commercialization of Control and Power Conversion Equipment for Heavy Industry. Including the identification and administration of the Environmental Aspects and Impacts, as well as the Hazards and Risks of Occupational Health and Safety, Derived from Operations such Purchasing, Importation, Integration, Storage, Assembly, Packaging and Distribution.”
From October 9th to 13th, 2023, the 14th External Audit was conducted by the Certification Body TÜV SÜD América de México, S.A. de C.V. Our Integrated Management System, which currently comprises 48 processes, was audited against the three standards: 9001, 14001, and 45001.
The Lead Auditor, Engineer Juan Manuel López Peña, reported it as ACCEPTABLE, and he would issue a recommendation for:
- Certification (ISO 45001-2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System)
- Maintenance:
- (ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System)
- (ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System)
